Shenzhen Seg Electronics Wholesale Market

The Shenzhen Seg Electronics Wholesale Market (SSEWM) was established in 1988 at the cross of Mid Shennan Road and North Huaqiang Road, where was honored as the Diamond Area of Shenzhen. It locates on the first to tenth floors of the podium building of Seg Plaza (first phase), and first to forth floors of Baohua Manor (second phase), both are landmarks of Shenzhen. The market has a total business area of nearly 56,000m2, over 3000 shops, up to 15,000 employees and 60,000-80,000 daily average guests flow volumes.

Featured as wide business scope and high integration, SSEWM’s products cover hundreds of thousands of types that fall into several categories namely electronic components, computers & accessories and computer peripherals. The first and second floors of the first phase mainly sell electronic components while the fourth floor is for IT boutiques that sell branded electronics exclusively. Computer DIY, accessories and consumptions are on the third, fifth and sixth floors. The rest 7 to 10 floors are stores of software, communication equipments, internet, security and video and audio products. The second phase mainly sells computers and digital products.

Shenzhen Huaqiang Electronics World

Huaqiang Electronics World (HEW) was founded in 1998 on the North Huaqiang Road, a nationally renowned electronics street in Shenzhen. It is right now China’s largest professional integrated electronics trading market with the richest product categories.

The HEW is the second largest electronics trading center in Shenzhen, which mainly focuses on spare parts and second-hand electronics products, and is particularly famous for its second-hand computer trading market. The first floor is a market of electronics components; the second floor is for computer DIY and spare parts; third floor is a place for computer repairing and used spare parts, while people will go to the fourth floor for used desktops or laptops.

Opened in July, 1998, possessing a business area of 43,000 m2 with over 2800 stores and almost ten thousands of employees, the HEW is now a large scale market specialized in electronics and computers. With a guest-flow volume of about 50 to 100 thousand per day and annual revenue of 2 billion, it was honored as Provincial Civilized Market in 1999 and 2000 in sequence.

Guangzhou Electronics Whole Market

Guangzhou Electronics City (GEC) is a large-scale market that specialized in electrical equipments. It locates on the first floor of a newly built exhibition center that is to the west of Guangzhou Cultural Park in a busy street of Xidi Second Road. Being approved by Guangzhou City Construction and Planning Bureau for business use means a more permanent and stable environment than like markets. The possessing of all the licenses required by government proved its legality. With more than 6000 m2 business area and over 300 independent stores, its business scope covers communication equipments of palm phones, fax machines, telephones, interphones, etc. and various audio and photographic equipments, as well as game machines and other small electrical appliances.
